WHAT I OFFER?

Toral offers a range of training and education services to medical, healthcare and oncology units to support them to provide the latest nutritional medicine and integrative oncology advice to their patients and to inform their practice. She translates the latest research into clinical practice and how you can advise patients in a culturally appropriate manner.

One of Toral's passions is reducing inequalities in cancer and she works with organisations to understand how they can make services more inclusive.

01

INTEGRATIVE ONCOLOGY

Integrative oncology is an evidence-based  and patient centred approach to cancer care that combines conventional medical treatments with food & natural products, mind-body practices, and lifestyle changes  to improve patients' quality of life and clinical outcomes.

Toral shares the latest research alongside practical tips to share with patients to reduce their  treatment side effects, improve treatment compliance and quality of life during and beyond treatment.

02

NUTRITIONAL MEDICINE

Patients often want to know about nutrition and food, and what they can eat to reduce their risk of recurrence of cancer. However, our oncology teams rarely include a nutritionist who understands the food and dietary patterns that can reduce risk of recurrence. Toral's knowledge of nutriton and the research behind reducing risk of cancer and recurrence  can be shared with the oncology team so that they can answer the most common questions and to create resources for patients.

03

LIFESTYLE AND
MIND-BODY THERAPIES

Lifestyle modifications, such as exercise, stress management, and sleep hygiene, can have a profound impact on our health and the risk of cancer and cancer recurrence. Mind-body therapies, such as meditation, yoga, and tai chi, can help reduce stress, improve mood, and promote overall well-being.

Understanding how the evidence behind these practices can improve treatment side effects increasing compliance, and  reduce risk of cancer recurrence and improve quality of life.

04

EDUCATION & SUPPORT

Toral offers a range of talks, webinars and training opportunities for oncology staff to understand more about nutrition, lifestyle, genetics and genomics, mind-body practices, and supplements and how they can advise their patients.
